Thing 8

This week's "thing" was learning how to use Prezi.  I watched the video at first and was a little intimidated, but I found it helpful to actually watch the video along with working on my mini Prezi at the same time.  I don't have a lot of experience with presentations, even in Power Point, so this is pretty new to me.  One group in our LLDP cohort used the Prezi tool, and their presentation looked great.

I can see it being helpful as a new way to do presentations for work that are fresh and haven't been done before.  I got a little confused trying to edit the text I had already written, and ended up having to delete an entire sentence.  I would have to play around with it a bit more to get the hang of it.  I'm not sure that my job has a lot of requirement for presentations, but I will definitely keep this tool in mind if I need to do one in the future.
