 Yikes!  Well I finally added the image to my blog after much confusion.  I'm not sure if I was missing something, but I ended up having to save the image to my computer, and then add it to my blog that way, I was not able to upload the image using the url.  I tried several different options and nothing worked.  I know how to add images to my blog from google, or personal pictures... but I've never had to add from Flikr before.

EUREKA!  After reading the instructions FULLY I realized the step of having to get the url with the .jpg at the end, I tried this and it worked.  Wow, funny what you can figure out after having actually read the instructions. 

Knowing how to photoshare is important.  I think for presentations, blogs, etc it's a good tool to know how to use just to spruce things up, or use pictures as examples.  I'm pretty careful of what pictures of myself I have out there, I think if I were to create my own personal Flikr account (especially if I were to add photos of family/friends or vacations/personal events) I might make it private and only send out the information to those I chose to view the pictures.  I think if you're going to chose to put pictures of yourself on the internet, you risk people being able to access them.  As long as you are comfortable with that then that's just fine.
